What do you do in this especially cool night?

English Corner is another choice, for me, it's a whale of a time.
It starts from singing carol songs. Following Word Search, that was special for Christmas, and made a wish when you finished all. I learned lots of words there. frost and icicle: when drops of water freeze, ice will form like a long pointed stick, and you can see white outside at night.
scrooge: someone very mean
stocking: for children prepare for the gifts from Christmas Father
Next, we had a quiz for head line. It was more funny.
Splash out: 1. get wet? 2. pay out? 3. affect other people?
Nod off: 1. die? 2. fall off your seat? 3. go to sleep?
Thingummybob: 1. something sticky? 2. a thing? 3. to do with your gums?
Red tape: 1. bureaucracy? 2. for wapping a special gift? 3. a warning?
A tall order: 1. a long list? 2. a difficult task? 3. a rewarding job?
Pip someone to post: 1. ask for something to be posted? 2. to win at the last moment?
Underdog: 1. small dog? 2. someone of lower status? 3. a nuisance cat
A whale of a time: 1. a disastrous time? 2. extremely good time?
Crony: 1. a close companion? 2. a type of singer? 3. a beggar?
Poisoned chalice: 1. looks desirable but is hazardous? 2. something no-one wants
Take the Mickey: 1. to steal something small? 2. to tease some one
Spaghetti junction: 1. a kind of pudding? 2. complicated motorway round-a-bouts
