School admission law

This legislation for children be given an equal chance of getting into a school of their choice. The independent Office of the school Adjudicator, against schools where admission criteria and practices had breached the code. Some heads had asked to parents' marriage certificates, an example of law breaking by admission authorities, didnot comply with regulations.

It is unacceptable that competions with other parents, who begged and pleaded the most and were the most articulate, could get a place for their children, others felt stressful, unjust and ashamed.

The letter as a new admission appeals code, which sets out to balance the right of parents, strive to make certain that children have a fair chance to get into a school of their choice.
