Hollywood actor Heath Ledger has been found dead in the NYC. He was found peacefully asleep. Ledger's family had earlier denied its report that the 28-year-old had committed suicide. "He was a down to earth, generous, kind hearted, life-loving, unselfish individual, extremely inspirational to many." said Ledger's father.
The actor was nominated for an Oscar in 2006 for his gay cowboy in the Ang Lee film Brokeback Mountain.
Mel Gibson and other Hollywood stars mourn Ledger's death and thought that is a tragic loss. "My heart goes out to his family."said fellow Australian actress Nicole Kidman.
